The words of the Lord are pure words as silver tried in the furnace of the earth refined seven times. (Ps. 12:6)
Every word of God is tested, He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. (Prov. 30:5; 2 Sam. 22:31)
The word of the Lord is tried, the law of the Lord is perfect and the commandment is pure. (Ps. 18:30)
The testimony of the Lord is sure.2. GOD BREATHED (Inspired)
The fear of the Lord is clean.
The precepts of the Lord are right.
The judgments of the Lord are true. (Ps. 19:8-10)
All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching for reproof , for correction for training in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16)
What was written in earlier times was written for our instruction that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (Rom 15:4)
No prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, for no prophet was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. (2 Pt. 1:20,21)
The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me and His word was on my tongue. (2 Sam. 23:2)
He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from of old. (Luke 1:70)
The Scripture has to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David, (Acts 1:16)
But the things that God announced beforehand through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures (Rom. 1:2)
About which God spoke by the mouth of His holy Prophets, (Acts 3:21)
Confirming the word of His servant and performing the word of His messengers. (Isa. 44:26)
3. GOD'S WORD IS NOT ONLY GOOD IDEAS, IT IS ALSO ALIVE.
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)
"for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God." (1 Peter 1:23)
Moses received living oracles to pass on to us. (Acts 7:38)

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. (Isa. 40:8)

"And He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord." (Deut. 8:3)
4. HOW SHALL WE TREAT GOD'S WORD?
My words are not to depart from you nor from your offspring or your offsprings' offspring. (Isa. 59:21)
"This book of the law shall not depart form your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it, for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success." (Josh. 1:8)
"You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as sign on you hand, and they shall be as frentals on your forehead. and you shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up and you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that your days may be long in the land. (Deut. 11:18-21; 6:8; Ex. 13:9)
Those who love Thy law have great peace, and nothing causes them to stumble. (Ps. 119:165)
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. (Ps. 119:105)
God's word is a letter to us of instruction, help and will show us the path of righteousness. To follow the teachings of the Bible will bring wisdom and blessing. To pray them and look for God to reveal Himself to you as you ponder them, will bring spiritual life and vitality as you obey in faith.
5. GOD WATCHES OVER HIS WORD TO PREFORM IT
The Lord always lives to intercede for us. (Heb. 7:25; Rom. 8:34)
God has not only given us His word to live by but also is actively involved in our life and growth.
I am watching over My word to perform it. (Jer. 1:12)
God is watching over us to build and to plant. (Jer. 31:28)
"Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." (Ps. 121:4)
6. WHAT IS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF GOD'S WORD?
God's word will not return empty, it will accomplish what God has set out to accomplish. (Isa. 55:10,11)
I have sworn by Myself, the word which has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness and will not turn back. (Isa. 45:23)
Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away. (Matt. 24:35)
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. (Isa. 40:8)
Sometimes we see the promise of the Bible and act on it and it appears that God has not followed through and backed up His word. The question then becomes, Will you act on what you have experienced or what the Bible promises?
Do we lose patience and faith? Our faith will be tested and refined. Patience is the proof of faith. But is faith passive? Faith is patience that waits with prayer.
Faith is hearing God. (Rom. 10:17) The Holy Spirit will disclose to us what is to come. (Jn. 16:13) We can patiently wait in faith for the promises that God has spoken to us. Don't expect God to answer your way . God will answer in His own way and in His time.
Why pray? Why not just wait? Faith is present, we pray about what we care about. If we don't pray about it then our faith is just an intellectual idea, and it has not touched our heart. Prayer is an offensive spiritual weapon. (Eph. 6) Prayer forces Satan to move, it moves God and it moves us.
Psalm 13 expresses this situation. David claimed that God had forgotten and hid from him. His heart was sorrowful all day and his enemies exalted over him. David's prayer was that God would answer him and that he would be enlighened. What did David do? He trusted in God's lovingkindness. He rejoiced in God's salvation and he sang to God. This was how David was able to pull out of his despondency. He remembered the past. God had dealt bountifully with him. We can have faith in God as David did.
